October 29, 2008 - Oklahoma Super Lawyers:
Shook & Johnson is proud to announce that Jonathan Shook has earned selection to the 2008 edition of Oklahoma Super Lawyers. The Oklahoma Super Lawyers list is based on a highly selective peer process used to identify outstanding lawyers in the state, and only 5 percent of the total lawyers in Oklahoma are listed in Super Lawyers. The Oklahoma Super Lawyers list appears in the November 2008 issue of Oklahoma Magazine and Oklahoma Super Lawyers, an annual publication of Law & Politics.
Mr. Shook was named to the list for his work in employment litigation on behalf of plaintiffs, and was only one of three lawyers named under that category in the entire state.
November, 2008 - Douglas Johnson Accepts Dentcubator Board Position

At the Greater New York Dental Show Douglas Johnson accepted a position on the Board of Managers for Dentcubator, LLC, a Boston, Massachusetts based company. Dentcubator is focused on identifying and acquiring proprietary interests in promising dental products of both companies and individual inventors; providing fledgling dental products and companies with management guidance, technical assistance and obtaining financing necessary for product development and company growth.
There are approximately 5,000 business incubator companies globally. Dentcubator is the first known incubator for the dental business. Essentially, after a brief due diligence process to familiarize the parties with one another's interests, Dentcubator can provide services such as: providing a panel of experts in each dental specialty to help provide guidance on design and development, assisting in patent preparation and application, assisting in getting products manufactured and marketed, and most importantly, getting dental products into the marketplace.
Mr. Johnson, as a Manager for Dentcubator, is proud to be associated with industry experts and dental leaders such as Steve Buchanan, John McSpadden, Ron Jackson, Sally McKenzie, Lorne Lavine, Sonia Leziy, Ken Malament, Joerg Strub, Mauro Fradeani, Paul Seid, Bill Dickerson, Hoy Maier, Manfred Pfeiffer, Mark Ferber and a host of other recognized dental leaders.
